Less substantive than The Faint and not quite tormented enough to fill that Postal Service-shaped hole, The Frail’s Count On This EP satisfies nevertheless. It’s music to fix your hair to: just the sugary sweet electronic goodness you were looking for during those less-than-epic moments. Head-bobbing and foot-tapping will be unavoidable. Summed up adequately with the word “flirtatious,” The Frail have created an upbeat coquette of an EP that’s rather pretty. Maybe not beautiful, but pretty.
